We'replanningahackathonnextmonththroughourVenture313program—aninitiativepoweredbytheGilbertFamilyFoundationtosupportDetroit-basedhigh-techstartupswithearly-stageinvestmentsandnon-dilutivegrants.
InpartnershipwithIDVentures,TechTownDetroit,andDetroitDevelopmentFund,we'vedeployedmorethan100investments(pre-seed,seed)andgrants,alongwithproductdevelopmentsupportandstrategicpartnershipstohelpfoundersgrowandsucceedcommercially.
Hackathon Timeline
From September 19–25, we'll be partnering with the MEDC's Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME) to host a hackathon that teaches both new and established companies how to leverage AI tools to build new products. The program will feature three experience tracks with workshops led by experienced engineers.
